I have purchased this camera before, but when i saw there was one available with a solar panel i had to get it.i put this camera on my boat that is moored in a port that is a ways away from where i live. i use it to monitor the slip that you have to walk down to gain access to the boat.before i had the battery only camera, it would last about 3 months before i had to drive down to recharge it. now with the solar version, i don't have to worry about it anymore.

Awesome camera with alerts and recording with SD card. Only downfall is the rechargeable battery only lasts a few days.

I've been buying this brand of security cameras for years. I'm starting to replace old ones with the newer models now. For the price you just can't beat them. They are reliable and the new app is great. I don't think I'll ever buy anything else.

I would definitely buy one of these again. The setup was super easy, just take a picture of the QR code in the manual to install the app on your phone. After that the app walks you through everything, you wont need the manual again.I was worried about buying a battery powered camera, but even though we've had several days of cloudy weather the solar panel has had no problem keeping it charged up and running. Wifi range was no problem even through walls.Picture quality is as good as any other 1080p camera. Very happy with this camera.

Easy set up and picture clarity is amazing for 1080p. Battery last a long time, now solar power will add a nice bonus since it can be mounted high, out of reach of thief who been known to steal battery power camera. Weatherproof work well and can stand up to the rain. App is user friendly and can be set to alarm when anyone cross the camera path. It easily connected to the iPhone app and now sends me picture alerts every time it sees a person on my front porch. A 64gb micro-sd card only cost me $8 and it will hold hundreds of hours of video. The battery life is around 5 months even without the solar panel and the unit is chargeable via the USB-C cable included. The solar panel also has a USB-C connection and a long cable making it useful for charging other electronics in the event of an emergency. I like it!
