This Driveway alarm is great! It has 1/2 mile range which is perfect for our big driveway and it also detects if someone is walking to your door. This is exactly what we needed with all the package stealing rising. It also has different alarm sounds you can select and you can adjust the volume and range sensitivity on the home base. We love it and feel so much safer now.

I bought a different brand this time after a year this brand stopped working new battery do flat in few days and it wont stay turned one Might want to keep your recipient on this one worked ok when it was working

The driveway alarm works great. I had it setup in less than 5 minutes and most of that time was installing the batteries. Once the sensor and alarm were powered up they started communicating immediately. The alarm can support 4 sensors and uses different sounds to identify each sensor. The alarm tone were easy to hear my office down the hall and were unique enough to not be confused with a cell phone ring. Kit came will all the parts needed, including mounting screws. The instruction provided were limited but the product was so intuitive additional instructions were not needed. Great Product

I needed a tripwire to alert salesfolks when clients were entering our outside showroom. This detector has a fairly narrow 'view', which I further narrowed, to a 1/4 inch slit with electrical tape. So configured, the device doesn't react to peripheral movement but does react when someone passes directly in front of it.

And unbelievable amount of false signals make using this product difficult, But the overall construction and application works fine. It could just be a bad sensor Setting off the alarm so often, I will install the 2nd one in the hopes of a better outcome.
