I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality of this camera. It is made out of a lightweight but rugged plastic material that appears to be durable and weatherproof. When I undid the clasps that keep the door closed on the camera it took some effort to open it up to access the inner working like sd card and batteries. This shows that the camera is tightly sealed against the elements. The camera images are high quality, actually better quality than what reviewers have uploaded. I think image uploads are reduced in quality for space purposes. It takes 8 AA batteries and I used panasonic eneloop rechargeable batteries and it works great and I can save money on batteries.I don't live out in the woods. I use it as part of my home's security set up. Much of my home is covered by Wyze cams but there is a side of the house that has no access to an electric socket. This camera allows me to cover that side and I can mount it on a tree that allows me to capture an angle that a dedicated security camera would have a hard time covering.Overall, I am happy with this solution as it fills in a need that was difficult to satisfy with other products.

I have owned a couple trail cams previously and used them to monitor the woods in advance of deer hunting season as I am a bowhunter. This is the best quality one I have owned yet, The weather seal is high quality, the picture quality is high quality, and the overall construction is sturdy. It powered up as expected and I followed the instructions in the booklet. In contrast to another reviewer, I had no issues getting the app from the apple appstore. The instruction booklet had QR codes for both apple and google. The apple version worked correctly and using the app was simple. Having the ability to monitor the camera remotely from your phone is awesome when you are within range and is it also way easier than having to remove the SD card. So far happy with the purchase and it has a industry beating 24-month warranty that inspires confidence.I also have a Topvision battery jumpstarter for my car that has served me well so I expect this to be another quality product with good customer service.

?So I got this for a gift, and before shipping to my dad I wanted to try it out. I couldn??t use it because it needs SD card and batteries so FYI! so you can be ready when you receive it. I choose it because it has wifi connection so my dad can connected to the internet because he wants to place it in the patio and capture the animals and wildlife of it lol. It comes with the strap and it really gets lost in the bushes, like the perfect camo! It??s the perfect father??s day gift! So hard to find stuff for men that aren??t socks or ties so yay

Here's some observations:USAGE: This is a camera for trail and outdoor monitoring. It could also double for keeping an eye on what's on your property as well, both humans or animals.BATTERIES AND BATTERY LIFE: This cam takes 8 AA batteries. Usage of course would be dependent on how much filming it's doing, based on the motion detection. I recommend using rechargeable batteries whenever possible.SETUP: It uses a mobile app to both see the photos and videos and configure settings. This means I don't have to retrieve the SD card and plug it into my computer to view the photos / videos. A lot more seamless of an experience, which I appreciate.WEATHERPROOF: Here in dry California, I've not yet been able to test the waterproofness, but the battery tray and other areas look to be well protected and it's rated IP66. I had to look that up and will share that it means it's rated to be 'Able to protect against powerful water jets' for 'at least 3 minutes' at a water volume of '100 liters per minute'. Seems sufficient for my needs!CLOSING NOTES: This looks to be a solid contender, especially if you already have rechargeable AA batteries and an SD card already.

I got this camera to track the activity at my bird feeder. We have a few pesky squirrels and I wanted to know if they bother the feeder at night. So far so good! I think the food is mostly being eaten by birds! The camera seems to have all of the settings you'd want in a trail camera: sensor delay and sensitivity, hours of operation, photo/photo burst or video shooting mode, length of video, picture/video resolution, etc... The battery life has been impressive so far. It should stay charged for days in standby/sleep. The mobile app is functional but I'd recommend planning to remove the SD card to actually download the videos/photos.

I have been looking for a camera to install behind our pond. We keep a salt block out for the wildlife and we wanted to see what kind of critters we are attracting. This camera is smaller than I expected and has a lot of features. The onboard screen makes it very easy to program and set up. It came with several options for mounting and a lot of mounting hardware. So far, I have been very pleased.

What I like about this camera is that it is small and fairly easy to setup. I like the built in screen for initial placement and to view pictures and video without the need of a laptop. it isn't a 4k screen but does the job. The camo cover helps make it more discreet for sneaking into to brushy areas and to hide so it doesn't get stolen. So the BAD/Cons. I was not able to download or find the android app for the mobile function but going with the traditional use isnt bad. overall not bad and still a very capable and usable trail cam.

I was not going to purchase a trail camera until Fall. However my hunting buddies advised to get a camera now ,to learn all the features of the camera , before the fall season. So I reviewed many of the camera offered and selected TOPVISION for all its features and another reason which I will list later. The set up very easy, coming from someone who takes 4- 6 times to program a device where other people take only once. There are over 20 features that can be programmed exclusive of the WI FI . Yes you can monitor your camera from your phone ,TV or computer .I only use the phone setting. You can set the resolution to save power and recording space depending on your storage capacity. I tested it at night and got great results and the daytime photos are very clear.Disclosure: My selection of this TOPVISION camera was influenced because I had purchased another TOPVISION product( not a camera ) and have had very good results. My hunting buddies really like this camera , and so do I. Two weeks of testing and good results

I have used a number of different security systems, webcams, outdoor and indoor cams, so not new to the hardware and software used with these various systems. This product impresses me with the level of care and quality that has gone into the hardware, in particular. The software and available apps, is also very well managed. It does take some focus and attention to the documentation to understand all the features and how to setup the access to the camera storage options, operational mode settings and how to save and access the captured videos and pictures. Also, to be clear; this is not a live action/wifi-accessed/live viewing camera, as you might find in the 'baby monitor' or 'nanny' cams on the market. This camera has a different approach and purpose to image capture. You can view the images captured, on the LCD in the cam, or download the videos and pictures to your mobil device or computer with the included USB cable. In addition to 8 AA batteries, which seem to last a long time, there is also an option to use a 6v 2A electric wall adaptor, to power it.The options of the image resolution is very impressive: you can save your captured videos in space saving lower formats or in VERY hi-res formats that show incredible detail and quality. Those high-res images, of course, take up a lot of space on your storage medium, so consider that when install your SD or micro-sd (in a SD holder).Storage medium (SD cards) are not included with the camera. However, I consider this a minor inconvenience as there are so many options available. I used a PNY 128GB Elite-X (class 10), micro-sd, in a SD holder; and it works great. I have a standard sized SD on order, to compare capture quality and download speeds. Please also note: a class 10 SD card is required. I attempted to use a non-class 10, slower sd card, and it was not recognized. It requires the higher speed of the class 10 SD's.I don't have any video or picture captures to share here as my camera is being used as a security camera in my computer repair shop, but those I have taken and reviewed are more impressive than any small or many 'professional' quality security systems I have seen before. I can recommend this camera to the trail cam enthusiast, as well as anyone looking to have an inexpensive, easy to setup and use, video security system. I have included some un-boxing pictures, to show what is included. Please note the removal of protective plastic over the LCD, camera and motion detectors. It is not mentioned in the documentation. Otherwise the quality of those devices will be degraded by the blurry plastic protector.
