Ever since my Kodak PlaySport died, I've been wanting another waterproof camcorder but...none really spoke to me, or my wallet. I thought an action camera would be great, but the price for most of them...ouch.However, when we bought a boat last summer that I started looking around again. My husband had been watching a ton of YouTube videos and I was inspired to start recording more of our adventures. I didn't want to pay hundreds, though, so I took a chance on the Akaso after reading some of the reviews. It seemed like it might be a great option for me and it turned out it was!It came with all sorts of stuff, including the waterproof case. It didn't have a selfie stick though, so I found a waterproof one of those and hooked it up to that. But it came with different fittings so I could mount it to just about anything.I chose a video to show just how clear the picture is. The dragonfly that was buzzing around my hand was pretty large but I wasn't sure if it would show up on the camera. Sure enough, it did!And the photos are decent too. You get a nice wide view of whatever you're shooting, which is good if you're wanting a wide shot. There's no way to zoom in, though. However, it did work great in the water and the wrist remote control is awesome!I also didn't realize it would record sounds, which was a nice surprise. For $50, it totally works for what I need it to. It's pretty easy to navigate once you know which button does what. However, I have to admit now I'm eyeing upgrading to the touchscreen one!

I bought this camera because I was going to do some snorkeling in Mexico, but I didn't want to spend the money on a GoPro. After doing some research on action cameras, this one captured my eye because it included two batteries, the water proof housing and what looks like a complete set of attachments for a variety of uses. I was not disappointed. It took a descent still photo as well as underwater video. It also comes with an app for your phone or tablet that will allow you to transfer the images and video. I'm a tech guy and connecting the camera to the app was a little tricky and took a few attempts, but it eventually worked. I think that could be an area of improvement, but I would not let that deter me from purchasing this action camera. I was very pleased.

used the AKASO EK7000 for almost a year now. I have taken over 3000 photos. I have used it while riding in my boat, in my side x side, my truck (driving thru the woods), and while being a passenger in a vehicle. I put the remote on my wrist and just point and shoot. I am very happy with this product and recommend it to anyone that wants to take any action photos
