The buttons were harder to press than I expected. The audio in 1080p was adequate (for my purposes), but the 4k audio had a lot of clicks. Sometimes the 4k audio was better than other times. Not certain of cause. The clicks of the button to stop the video is recorded in the audio, so record video a bit longer than needed. The video in both 4k and 1080p was good. (Note: I still haven't used it much. Busy with other things) I do intend to buy the external microphone and, if they have one that fits, a waterproof case for underwater. I have not tried out the water resistence of the camera in the weather, but I suspect that it is NOT capable of being submerged in water without being in a waterproof case.

I was skeptical at the price as I was looking for an action cam to use when I take my Jeep off-road, but figured for the price, I didn't have much to lose. Frankly, I was blown-away by the video quality. At 4K 30FPS, it takes great video. Not to mention, being on an off-road trail, the Jeep is bouncing all over the place, but the image stabilization does a great job compensating so the video isn't 'shaky', but still showing the amount of movement up/down. I don't know why I'd pay $300 for a GoPro when this fits the bill darn near the same.

The Campark V40 arrived yesterday, for the price it is a buy. For me a very big plus is, that unlike many cameras that record 'video', there is no 29:59 minute recording limit. In simple terms the camera recorded video until the battery was drained; about 127 minutes.
The manual is a little lacking; but honestly have you ever translated a document, I have. It is not that simple.
My biggest complaint is the website it is way too busy for me. There are pop-up all over the page blocking things that should be read before buying. When I ordered the V40 the card showed a recommendation for a second pair of batteries and a charger, so I ordered that also.
When my order came the recommended batteries and charger are for another model. So don??t take anything on that site for granted you may end up end up wasting money on un-usable items.

Decent action camera but, the battery life is terrible, less than an hour per battery, about 1.5 using both batteries.

Haven??t test on waterproofing. A bit of distortion on sound. Overall happy customer.

Great product for the beginner to intermediate camera users. Less than half the price of a GoPro and others this size. I'm not beating up GoPro, but just letting you know the difference. Plus, it comes with 2 batteries, waterproof case and many extras.

Camera has excellent features , touch screen, remote. I think comparable to a Go Pro 7. However the sound quality , even with a microphone is sub par. If sound is not important to you, this is a great camera. Additionally customer support , accessories are better than I??ve ever experienced! A+++++
