This camera is good, but it is hard to give it the stars it should receive due to the audio issue, everything with this camera is amazing but the audio recording.

The buttons were harder to press than I expected. The audio in 1080p was adequate (for my purposes), but the 4k audio had a lot of clicks. Sometimes the 4k audio was better than other times. Not certain of cause. The clicks of the button to stop the video is recorded in the audio, so record video a bit longer than needed. The video in both 4k and 1080p was good. (Note: I still haven't used it much. Busy with other things) I do intend to buy the external microphone and, if they have one that fits, a waterproof case for underwater. I have not tried out the water resistence of the camera in the weather, but I suspect that it is NOT capable of being submerged in water without being in a waterproof case.

I currently use this for fishing videos, and honestly the only complaint I have on the product is the microphone. They do sell an external microphone, but unfortunately none are in stock, the recording time is pretty decent, I try to carry a portable battery pack to charge if necessary. I currently use it attached to an actionhat, and possibly will purchase another for a kayak attachment in the future depending on how well the external microphone will do. Overall pretty great product for my needs.

Me and my family love going on adventurous vacations and taking videos and pictures are an important part of capturing the memories. We love to go surfing, hiking, diving, anything! We recently went on vacation and went skiing and we decided to try this camera out to get some action shots to capture the memory. After trying it out, we really loved this camera! I??m so happy i came across this. my favorite part is that it??s waterproof. I don??t have to stress about getting snow on it or if I take it to the ocean I don??t have to stress dropping in the water and losing all the pictures and videos. Since it??s waterproof i can also take it to go diving and record different wildlife. it has a 2 inch touchscreen which is super easy to use and control. The videos come out super clear. Many other cameras I??ve used have really poor quality and come out blurry but using this camera my videos has amazing detail and display. We were moving super quickly when we were skiing but the camera had no problem creating a stabilized clear video. It even has its own wi-fi, this allows my phone to connect and i can control my camera through my phone. I??m super excited to use this camera on more adventures, i highly recommend!

We needed a replacement for our trusty shockproof waterproof Nikon, and I wanted something that was 'double' waterproof - inside a waterproof case - as the Nikon had a button on the side to open the battery compartment. A few seconds and a curious 4 year old in the springs was all it took to ruin that camera. The Akaso Brave is waterproof, and has a waterproof poly case that securely locks onto the camera. The battery compartment is also difficult to open which for us is a good thing. We've taken this everywhere this summer - lots of springs, creeks, rivers, and beaches - and it has taken wonderful photos and the battery charge lasts a really long time. The remote only works if the camera is already in the mode you wish to use, and is not set to automatically turn off, so you'll want to set that up for success.Love all the additional gadgets that came with it, have only used the kayak mount so far but planning to try some others soon. Nice camera at a fraction of the usual price for these action cams.

I bought this camera as a present for my son who wanted it to record while he was skiing. We went night skiing the day he received the camera. It came with all kinds of mounting hardware, so we had no problem mounting the camera to a ski pole, using the included waterproof enclosure. It was a little tricky swapping between record and picture mode, but we anticipate that had more to do with our familiarity with the software than with a problem with the camera. Image stabilization was excellent. The camera did struggle a little with the low light conditions, but night skiing during heavy snowfall made our own visibility difficult at times.
Overall based on this first test run, the camera is an excellent choice for the money. After buying these for each of my grown sons, I'm now thinking of getting one for myself.
